Menschgemachter Stein und Herrgottsbeton (Man-made Stone and the Concrete of the Lord)
Two boulders are placed opposite each other. Visually, they hardly differ from each other. The title refers to the origin of the stones: One is a round, polished chunk of concrete that could be a maximum of 100 years old, while the other is a Nagelfluh boulder. This natural rock is around 20 million years old and is known colloquially as “Herrgottsbeton”(God's concrete) in southern Germany.
Zwei Findlinge werden einander gegenübergestellt. Optisch unterscheiden sie sich kaum voneinander. Der Titel verweist auf die Herkunft der Steine: Bei dem einen handelt es sich um einen rundgeschliffenen Betonbrocken, der maximal 100 Jahre alt sein kann, bei dem anderen um einen Nagelfluhfindling. Dieses natürliche Gestein ist ca. 20 Millionen Jahre alt und wird in Süddeutschland umgangssprachlich Herrgottsbeton genannt.
